A DSC STUDY OF gamma-AMINOBUTYRIC ACID GAMMA IRRADIATED
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii din Bucuresti. Chimie - Year 2010, Vol 19, Issue 1
Abstract
The behaviour on heating of irradiated with gamma rays and non-irradiated γ-amino-butyric acid (γ-AMB) was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry. γ-AMB decomposes before melting.

SIGNIFICANCE TEST IN EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OF THE QUENCHING DISTANCE FOR n-BUTANE-AIR MIXTURES AT VARIOUS INITIAL PRESSURES
An empirical correlation between quenching distance, qd, and initial pressure, p0, has been used to estimate the model parameters for the butane-air mixture through linear regression. The tests of significance of the two...
SOLVATION PARAMETERS OF LEAD ACETATE IN MIXED WATER-N,N-DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE MIXTURES AT 298.15 K
The molar solubility of lead acetate (LA) in mixed DMF-H2O solvents was measured at 298.15 K. From the molar solubilities the solvation parameters, Debye Huckel constants A, B, activity coefficient, solubility products,...

OVERALL ACTIVATION ENERGY OF PROPANE-AIR COMBUSTION IN LAMINAR FLAMES
The overall activation energy of propane oxidation in laminar flames was evaluated from normal burning velocities characteristic for the flame propagation in preheated or diluted propane-air mixtures, using various corre...
