Abstract
The article analyzes the factors that infl uence consumer acculturation among Asians living in Hungary. 107 semi-structured interviews were conducted. The study presents the link between identity, food consumption and media consumption. During the analysis we came to the conclusion that the types of media watched by the interviewees infl uence the acculturation of the consumers. There is also a signifi cant diff erence between how we obtain information and the identity of people using the Chinese WeChat program and those using Facebook Messenger.
