A New Bio Mathematical Model to Find the Age Specific Coronary Heart Disease Mortality Rates Using Takacs Formula
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 10
Abstract
The gender difference (gender gap) in mortality due to coronary heart disease (CHD) decreases with age. This relationship has not been well characterized in diverse populations. To examine the gender gap in coronary heart disease (CHD) mortality across age groups, we examine a doubly controlled process of servicing machines. The classical system treated by Takacs is equipped with + unreliable machines served by one repairman. In the present modification of this model, the failure rates and the repair time may be controlled with respect to the state of the system. The process describing the number of intact machines is considered. To derive its steady state distribution in the form of a simple explicit formula, the author introduces an auxiliary model with unreliable machines and a single repairman who keeps working even when all machines are intact.
