A New Modification of The HPM for The Duffing Equation With High Nonlinearity
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
In this work we introduce a new modification of the homotopy perturbation method for solving nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The technique is based on the blending of the Chebyshev pseudo-spectral methods and the homotopy perturbation method (HPM). The method is tested by solving the strongly nonlinear Duffing equation for undamped oscillators. Comparison is made between the proposed technique, the standard HPM, an earlier modification of the HPM and the numerical solutions to demonstrate the high accuracy, applicability and validity of the present approach.

A New Model for a Non-Linear Electromagnetic Model with Self-Interacting Photons
A new electromagnetism is still expected to be developed. Thus, under such a principle where nature works as a group, an electromagnetism beyond Maxwell is studied. It considers that light metric antecedes electric charg...
Transition in spacetime
The universe has two main dimensions spatial dimension (consists of three dimensions directional X, Y, Z) and the other dimension is the temporal dimension. Time and space are linked strongly inseparable so we will consi...
Helical tomotherapy for advanced esophageal cancer improves target conformity and homogeneity: A comparison with fixed-field intensity-modulated radiotherapy
Purpose: To evaluate the usefulness of helical tomotherapy (HT) in the treatment of advanced esophageal cancer (EC) and compare target homogeneity, conformity and normal tissue doses between HT and fixed-field intensity-...
