A novel Cut Detection Technique in WSN
Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 9
Abstract
If some of the nodes fails in wireless sensor network it can get separated into multiple connected components which is called as “cut”. This paper concentrates on the problem of detecting cuts by the help remaining nodes. The proposed algorithm helps to detect when the connectivity to other node has been lost, and to detect the occurrence of the cut. The algorithm system is that every node needs to communicate with other nodes which are in range. This algorithm works based on the iterative computation of “electrical potential” of the nodes and the convergence of the algorithm does not depend on the scale of the network. Hence the effectiveness of the algorithm is recognized and have a significance develop shown in the simulation.
