A Novel End-To-End QoS Framework Over Heterogeneous Networks - An Architectural Approach
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2010, Vol 51, Issue 2
Abstract
End-to-end QoS (Quality of Service) provisioning over heterogeneous networks is a major challenge. The poor communication between Service Providers, the increasing complexity of the supported services, the need for fulfillment of end-to-end requirements represent the main problems to be solved by the new QoS frameworks. This paper presents a novel system architecture for an end-to-end QoS framework over heterogeneous networks, that aims to guarantee network performances and to provision end-to-end QoS over multiple autonomous systems.

Neuro-Fuzzy stereo camera calibration architectures used in interactions with medical volumes
Computer assisted diagnosis/surgery systems need improved solutions for visualization and interactions, as the virtual probe tools. This work presents such an interaction tool and its applications in medical imaging. The...
Comparative Analysis Of Three Versions Of A Capacitor-Less LDO Structure That Supplies A Rail-To-Rail VCO
This paper presents three circuit implementations of a low-dropout voltage regulator (LDO) structure that supplies a rail-to-rail voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) operating at 2.5GHz. The LDOs comprise only a small de...
LOW-Cost Prototype Equipment For VLF Radio Wave Monitoring
The paper presents a short overview of the natural phenomena that generates VLF, ELF and SLF electromagnetic waves. In order to emphasize the importance of studying these waves, the paper presents a prototype equipment u...
Multi Binary Turbo Coded WOFDM Performance in Flat Rayleigh Fading Channels
In this paper, the application of Multi Binary Turbo Codes (MBTCs) to two multicarrier modulation techniques used for transmission in the flat radio fading channel is studied. Thus, the performance of the coded versions...
Study of Effects of The Short Time Fourier Transform Configuration On EEG Spectral Estimates
EEG signals recorded from scalp contain useful information about the activity of a large number of neurons. Signal processing is needed to extract this information from the EEG signal. Here we study the effects of config...
