A Novel End-To-End QoS Framework Over Heterogeneous Networks - An Architectural Approach
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2010, Vol 51, Issue 2
Abstract
End-to-end QoS (Quality of Service) provisioning over heterogeneous networks is a major challenge. The poor communication between Service Providers, the increasing complexity of the supported services, the need for fulfillment of end-to-end requirements represent the main problems to be solved by the new QoS frameworks. This paper presents a novel system architecture for an end-to-end QoS framework over heterogeneous networks, that aims to guarantee network performances and to provision end-to-end QoS over multiple autonomous systems.

Multi Binary Turbo Coded WOFDM Performance in Flat Rayleigh Fading Channels
In this paper, the application of Multi Binary Turbo Codes (MBTCs) to two multicarrier modulation techniques used for transmission in the flat radio fading channel is studied. Thus, the performance of the coded versions...
Broadband Power Amplifier Nonlinearity Cancellation in OFDM Systems
One drawback of OFDM systems is the high peak-to-average power ratio, which imposes strong requirements on the linearity of power amplifiers (PAs). Such linearity requirements translate into high back-off that results in...
A VLSI Implementation of a New Low Voltage 4th Order Differential Gm-C Band-Pass Filters For Different Approximation In CMOS Technology
In this paper we present a new low voltage 4th order differential Gm-C band-pass filter (BPF) for different approximations (Butterworth or Chebyshev), which has been designed in CMOS technology. This differential BPF is...
Forecasting By Neural Networks In The Wavelet Domain
This paper presents a forecasting method for time series. This method combines the wavelet analysis and several forecasting techniques such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), linear regression and random walk. The prop...
Comparison of LMS algorithm derivatives using LabVIEW FPGA
The LMS algorithm derivatives have found wide application in many areas of adaptive signal processing and control. In this paper we study the tracking performance of the LMS derivatives in adaptive noise cancellation for...
