A Review of Methods and Tools Used to Measure the Level of Development of the Information Society

Abstract
The article presents approaches to measuring the information society. Measurement attempts analysed in the article are mostly based on composite indicators. The authors provide a critical evaluation of the methods and techniques used, taking into account the Polish and international experience.
