Abstract
Children's magazines offer written and visual content that is appropriate for children's knowledge, skills and needs, while their design and text selection are shaped according to the ''child-appropriateness principle''. This article examines the internal and external structural features of the ''Balalar Âlemi/Ballar Ә???і'' magazine. The scanning model was used in the study, and the data were examined with the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods. The aim of the study is to determine the formal external structure examination criteria and to examine the internal and external structural components of the online Balalar Älemi'' magazine within the framework of these determined criteria. Within the framework of these criteria determined by us for the first time, three types of external structural components were determined on the web page of the online ''Balalar Älemi'' magazine. These are generally drawn-visuals; menus accessed by clicking on them, and contents accessed by scrolling. The content components were examined one by one and compared with the printed magazine data
