A Solution to Study Different Homing Methods Using a PLC
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2014, Vol 21, Issue 2
Abstract
In a positioning control with stepper motors it is very important to know zero location. For this purpose it is necessary a homing command. This paper presents a solution that allows the study of different methods implemented to find a home position (also called: zero point) and to observe the differences between these methods.

Electrical Field Distribution Analysis on Human Be-ing Placed under High Voltage Lines
The paper presents the interaction between electric field of a high voltage line and the body of a human being placed near the line, for normal situation, when human being is placed on the ground or in accidental situati...
Experimental Research on Vibrations of Double Harmonic Gear Transmission
Gears transmission can be important sources of vibration in the me-chanical system structures and can have a significant share in the overall vibration level. The current trend of significant increase in pow-ers and spee...
Digital Speed Cascade Control, using Scilab / Xcos Environment
This paper presents an application of digital cascade control implemented in Scilab / Xcos environment, using a P type regulator for the position adjustment circuit, a PI controller for the speed circuit adjustment; the...
Investigations into the Mechanical Properties and Microstructural Behavior of Foreign and Locally Fabricated Brake Disc
The present work reports investigations on mechanical and microstructural properties of foreign and locally fabricated brake disc. From safety point of view, brake disc is a crucial component of the braking system. Fore...
The Correlation between Harmonica Indices and Noise Indicators
Environmental Noise Directive requires the use of common noise indicators in member countries of the European Union as physical quantities that describe the environment noise created by different sources of noise. The EN...
