Abstract
It is determined that the structure of the model of the world in the story «The Songs of Fire and Ashes» by Yevgeny Gutsala contains the world of beauty and anti-world of destruction. On the verge of these worlds are teens, endowed with the ability to see the surrounding beauty, which is the essence of the world of beauty. Terenia’s death makes it necessary to rethink universal values, to reflect on the problems of life.
