A STUDY OF ACTIVE VIBRATIONS DAMPING WITH THE APPLICATION OF ACTIVE TOOL
Journal Title: Archives of Mechanical Technology and Materials - Year 2015, Vol 35, Issue
Abstract
The article represents a short overview of solutions available on the market, which allow for vibrations damping during the machining process. The description also provides information on the essence of chatter vibrations. The next part of the following paper includes the model of active machine tool based on piezoelectric actuator with work piece and the model of machining process. Next, the results of simulation research are presented for two control systems. All simulations were carried out in Matlab Simulink Software.

Design of The Test Stand for Hydraulic Active Heave Compensation System
The article presented here described the design of a test stand for hydraulic active heave compensation system. The simulation of sea waves is realized by the use of hydraulic cylinder. A hydraulic motor is used for sea...
Comparison of selected surface topography parameters after the turning of Inconel 625 obtained by the additive techniques to the parameters of the material made by the traditional techniques
The paper presents the possibilities of additive manufacturing of the selected alloy, Inconel, for production of ready-made elements. The results of surface topography examination of the material manufactured with the us...
Testing of beveled crimp connections made on a prototype stand
The purpose of this study is to form and test inseparable tight joints, commonly used in the construction of heat exchangers, by crimping operation on designed prototype stand. Crimped joints are made by tools in form of...
Laser borided composite layer produced on austenitic 316L steel
Austenitic 316L steel is well-known for its good resistance to corrosion and oxidation. Therefore, this material is often used wherever corrosive media or high temperatures are to be expected. The main drawback of this m...
COMPARATIVE STUDY OF TECHNOLOGICAL AND FUNCTIONAL PROPERTIES OF CUTTING EDGES MADE OF CONVENTIONAL AND SINTERED HIGH SPEED STEEL
In the article selected fragments of investigations of technological properties of cutting edges made of conventional and sintered high speed steel with similar chemical composition are presented. Investigations of techn...
