A study of percutaneous K wire fixation in supracondylar fracture of humerus (SCFH) in children
Journal Title: Journal of Medical and Allied Sciences - Year 2015, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
Supra-condylar fracture humerus is common in children. This fracture is often not treated on time, and even when it is, often the ideal treatment is not given. The complications are many if not managed by a specialist, whereas if due care is taken and early treatment is started, excellent results will follow. Our study describes 52 children with Supracondylar fracture humerus who were treated with K-wire fixation. There were only a few complications and for the most, our management has given consistently good results.
