A Study on the Impact of Intelligent Healthcare on Constructing New Doctor-patient Relationships and Strategic Countermeasures
Journal Title: Medicine and Philosophy - Year 2025, Vol 46, Issue 1
Abstract
The application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the medical field is profoundly transforming traditional doctor-patient relationships. On one hand, AI technology significantly contributes to improving doctor-patient relationships through its advantages in optimizing medical resource allocation, alleviating doctors' workloads, and reducing misdiagnosis rates. On the other hand, the adoption of AI technology also introduces potential challenges, such as trust crises caused by the black box problem, the absence of humanized communication in extreme cases, and doctor-patient risks arising from unclear responsibility attribution. These issues may negatively affect the harmonious development of doctor-patient relationships. In this context, the development of intelligent healthcare should adhere to a "human-centered" approach, rooted in the concept of caring for both doctors and patients. By integrating technology with humanistic care, a more harmonious doctor-patient relationship can be fostered.
