A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF MOTHERS EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS ON THEIR CHILDREN'S ACADEMIC PERFORMANCES IN IMPHAL WEST DISTRICT, MANIPUR

Abstract
This paper aim at examining the impact of mother's educational qualifications on their children's academic performance of Imphal West District, Manipur. The investigator adopted Normative Survey Method. Altogether 578 illiterate and educated mothers have been selected as the sample of the study. Self-prepared Students Information Sheet is used and percentage method is adopted for the study. The result of the study shows that the higher the educational qualifications of mother, better the academic performance of their children.
