Abstract

Present study was aimed to assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme on knowledge and practice of Staff Nurses regarding use of Braden Scale on Pressure sore. The objectives of study were : 1. To assess the level of knowledge regarding use of Braden scale on Pressure sore among Staff Nurses before and after administration of Structured Teaching Programme 2. To assess the practice regarding use of Braden scale on Pressure sore among Staff Nurses before and after administration of Structured Teaching Programme 3. To assess the effectiveness of Structured Teaching Programme regarding use of Braden scale on Pressure sore among Staff Nurses 4. To find out the correlation between the knowledge score and practice score 5. To find out the association between pre test knowledge with selected demographic variables 6. To find out the association between the pre test practice score with selected demographic variables The method adopted for the present study was evaluative approach. In this study samples were drawn by using non probability method. Data was collected by using structured knowledge questionnaire and an observational checklist..
