Journal Title: UNKNOWN - Year 2017, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract
The caregiver burden is a condition describes the various difficulties that the material and moral context undertakes treatment of the caregivers. During the psychiatric rehabilitation period of autism, which is a serious mental disorder, the care giver burden has an important place in the course of treatment. Generally, it is necessary to assess the perceived burden of caregiver in treatment process in terms of experience of the child and parent and the success of the treatment. Although there are many studies on autism, the number of studies in which a multi-factorial assessment of the care giver burden are relatively small. In this article, the burden caused by autism in caregivers has been examined and discussed.
