A View towards High Speed Bi-stable RF MEMS Switch with Low Actuation Voltage
Journal Title: Journal of Science and today’s world - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 7
Abstract
It has been a long time that cell phone technology has been totally dependent on RF switches. In spite of their being the same functionally, there has been quite a change in the way they have been made. In the past few years activities have been done to utilize MEMS technologies in designing and fabricating an RF switch which can be replaced in many ways for the electronic and mechanical switches having been used for such a long time. This paper is going to describe a designing and fabrication process for an RF MEMS switch that can handle higher RF power with CMOS compatible operating voltages.
