ABD Dış Politikasında Çin: Donald Trump Dönemi

Abstract
In American foreign policy, China has found a place for itself at different times and in different ways. In some periods, the American administrations followed a stricter Chinese policy, while in other periods, strategic rapprochement between the two countries occurred. The US presidents have also had a great impact on these ups and downs. This research focuses on explaining the changing China policy of the USA in the period of D. Trump The aim of the study is to reveal the difference between the Donald Trump-era China policy and the previous administrations. According this study, tries to explain the basics of American foreign policy, the US China policy process and the change created by D. Trump in this process. According to the results of the study, the US foreign policy in the period of D. Trump was shaped within the framework of the "America first" view. As a result of this understanding, more rigid policies were implemented in this period against China, which was previously seen as a rival in the race for global hegemony.
