About the influence of λ tool cutting edge angle on its bevelled metal cutting power

Abstract
On the basis of the analysis of published works by the authors who investigated the influence of λ tool cutting edge angle on its power, the reasons for the contradictory results are noted by researchers of this study area. It is stated that the accepted method of studying the dependence of bevelled metal cutting power on its main tool cutting edge angle does not reflect the effect of the actual angle of inclination of the cutting edge. The proposed method, which excludes the change of the originally done by angle edging on and on of the cutting blade in the transition from one angle to another value, namely it is provided and re-edging in accordance with the proposed ratios of the authors.
