ABOUT THE ROLE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF MODERN UKRAINIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY IN THE INVESTIGATION OF ISSUES OF FIRST WORLD WAR

Abstract
The article analyzes the scientific achievements of modern Ukrainian historiography regarding coverage of events related to the history of First World War. The basic achievements and tendencies in the analysis of the role and significance of modern Ukrainian historiography in the investigation of defined problem are demonstrated, the degree of coverage of some aspects is clarified, innovative conceptions are found.
