ABOUT THE STUDIES RELATED TO CONK IN TURKEY

Abstract
Future of nations are based on the values of today and the past. In order to provide a steady future, it is necessary to reveal and evaluate the components of past cultures. Conks are one of the most significant pieces of work including the Turkish Folk Culture and Literature. Completing its formulation and development in public and resisting to the all of the negative conditions of time and extending to today, Conks are the resources of a variety of Literature fields such as Minstrel Literature, Sufi Literature, Folk Literature, Folklore and Classical Literature. In conks which generally both embody poems of minstrels and partly embody poems of poets who are member Classical Literature, there are lots of things related to history of folk,lifestyle, customs and belief of folk. In terms of this, Conks become more of an issue about having new perspectives following the searches of Oral Literature and presenting this new perspectives to the attention of researchers. When internal and external features of Conks are examined by researchers, it can be reached many important information related to Turkish culture, history, literature and art. With reference to poems in Conks, sense of poem,pop poets /poems , literary taste and unknown poems ever of minstrel poets and divan poets can be reached. With reach features of language, Conks include in dialectal features of the time written in,topical words, idioms and proverbs. Accordingly, Conks are works which have a quality of source to show changes in Turkish language from past to now. So to say, Conks are essence of folk poetry, source and also accumulation and treasure. Many studies have been done so far about Conks which are one of the most important sources of Turkish literature. In this article, introduction of fundamental publications related to Conks in Turkey and their brief introductory information is worked by grounding on the publication dates of those publications.
