NOTES ABOUT THE GULSEHRİ

Abstract

Gulsehri is the most important name stage of the establishment of Turkish literature in Anatolia as of artistry after Yunus Emre. Although he is writing the first book in Persian, largest, most important and undoubtedly immortal book is Mantıku't-tayr which is written in the Turkish by him. It is known that there are large and small works outside two works and there are some controversial issues concerning the life of the poet and his works. In this paper has demonstrated and has tried to clarify all controversial issues regarding the Gulsehri. These issues, focuses on the real name of the poet Ahmed or Suleiman and belongs the mathnawi of Kerâmât-ı Ahi Evran. Additionally, - although not a significant basis problematic- we also have expressed, detected and e-interpreted our opinion on the matter of the poet's hometown.
