AC2 Wind Tunnel Model
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
CESAR focuses on small-size commercial aircraft providing manufacturers with an enhanced ability needed to become fully competitive in the world market. The objective is to build up a new development concept for this aircraft category and to improve selected technologies enabling a significant reduction of the time-to-market and lowering the overall development, operation and maintenance costs, while considering safety, passenger comfort and environmental impact. The CESAR aspires to provide technologies and knowledge for advanced wing, competitive and environmentally acceptable propulsion unit and new technologies for selected aircraft systems to reduce aircraft operating costs and improve safety.

Losses and blade tip clearance for a centrifugal compressor
The present paper presents the numerical analysis for a transonic centrifugal compressor using steady state CFD. The blade tip clearance effect over the position of shock waves, tip losses and the performances of the imp...
Key Performance Indicators to describe production activity with QTS-2 equipment
New equipment’s development involves a multidisciplinary approach and also risks associated with expected outcomes. Monitorization from incipient steps using KPIs could bring improvements and defensive strategies of prev...
Twisted Contact Structures in Turbulent Flows
The “hairpin” vortical structure initiated from a conceptual model of Theodorsen refers to a Ω-shaped vortex with two streamwise-oriented legs connected via a raised spanwise-oriented arch. Both computational and experim...
Numerical illustration of the global and local stability and instability of the constant spatially developing 2D gas flow
In this paper different types of stabilities (global, local) with respect to instantaneous perturbations and permanent source produced time harmonic perturbations are numerically illustrated in case of a constant spatial...
Comparative analysis of kill probability one of the main features of Air Defense Integrated Systems
The combat features of the Ground Based Air Defence Systems represent the potential of search, discovery, indicate, combat and destruction of the enemy's air assets and the ability to manoeuvre of forces and combat means...
