Comparative analysis of kill probability one of the main features of Air Defense Integrated Systems
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2014, Vol 6, Issue 3
Abstract
The combat features of the Ground Based Air Defence Systems represent the potential of search, discovery, indicate, combat and destruction of the enemy's air assets and the ability to manoeuvre of forces and combat means, for the purpose of capturing the enemy's airspace and avoid actions and attack to defend objectives (of troops) assigned in the area of responsibility tacking into account the conditions established by the mission. The paper is focused on a comparative study on the possibilities of target destruction of the Air Air Defence Systems (antiaircraft artillery and Surface-To-Air Missiles). Two situations were chosen: for the first case, related to S1, S2 and S3, we’ve assumed the presence of a flying target describing a uniform rectilinear trajectory both in the presence and in the absence of the enemy’s electronic jamming. For the second case concerning S4 we’ve assumed that the target changed its angle of flight.

Existence and static stability of a capillary free surface appearing in a dewetted Bridgman process. Part I.
This paper presents six theoretical results concerning the existence and static stability of a capillary free surface appearing in a dewetted Bridgman crystal growth technique. The results are obtained in an axis-symmetr...
Analysis of low Reynolds number flow past Gurney flap
The trailing edge region of a single element wing fitted with Gurney flap at low Reynolds numbers has been studied. The complex flow separation phenomena on airfoils with Gurney flap at low Reynolds numbers have some sp...
The problem of incompressible jets with curvilinear walls
The jet flow problem concerning the discharge of a fluid (from an orifice in a container) into the atmosphere is studied herein in the framework of the Helmholtz-Kirchhoff model. The problem is reduced to the study of a...
The design and performance on 200N-class bipropellant rocket engine using decomposed H2O2 and Kerosene
Mono-propellant thrusters are widely utilized in satellites and space launchers. In many cases, they are using hydrazine as a propellant. However, hydrazine has high toxicity and high risks in using for launch campaign....
Performances Study of a Hybrid Rocket Engine
This paper presents a study which analyses the functioning and performances optimization of a hybrid rocket engine based on gaseous oxygen and polybutadiene polymer (HTPB). Calculations were performed with NASA CEA softw...
