Accessability Analysis of Interactive Systems Using MOM Tool
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Human - Computer Interaction - Year 2012, Vol 5, Issue 2
Abstract
Accessibility of graphical user interface is a necessary condition for peoples with visual disabilities to use software applications. In order to evaluate the accessibility for a user interface a dedicated software tool is necessary; this should be able to identify as much as possible of any accessibility problem. In this paper several case studies are presented with accessibility analysis using the MOM (Meaningful Object Manager) tools package.

Usability evaluation of a learning scenario for Biology implemented onto an augmented reality platform
The combination between real and virtual in the augmented reality systems requires suitable interaction techniques that need to be tested with users in order to avoid usability problems. Formative evaluation aims at find...
Improving parsing using morpho-syntactic and semantic information
In this paper we present the efforts of creating a syntactic parser with a very good performance on Romanian sentences. Instead of creating a parser from scratch, we decided to test the freely available existing ones and...
Evaluation of the Effort to Mental Reconstruct the Objects from Technical Drawings
In this paper is presented an experiment aimed to estimate the cognitive complexity of 2D technical drawings by measuring the reaction time and the accuracy of mentally reconstructed 3D images from 2D planar projections....
Sustaining Designers' and Users' Quality of Life in the Paradigm of Plastic UIs
Modern User Interfaces need to dynamically adapt to their context of use, i.e. mainly to the changes that occur in the environment or in the platform. Model-Driven Engineering offers powerful solutions to handle the desi...
