ACTIVITIES OF FISHING COMPANIES IN GALICIA IN 19th – EARLY 20th CENTURIES

Abstract
It is illustrated the organization of the Provincial fishing company in Krakow, Lviv “Club of fishing sports”, “Society of fishing sports”, “Warsaw society of sports fishing associations”, “Society of sport fishing lovers” and the company “Rod” in Stanislav, Sambiri “Sport-fishing Association”, Zhydachiv “Hunting and fishing society”, “Provincial fishing company in Kolomyya”, “Provincial fishing company in Terebovlya “, “Subcarpathian Society of sport fishing lovers” in Stryi. It was analyzed the activity of these societies in the promotion of sport fishing, their impact on public authorities to protect fish populations. It was found a number of other societies , which purpose was to promote the development of sport fishing. It was made a comparative analysis of the activities of Galician companies to promote sport fishing with similar companies in Europe. It was made the analysis of the statute and rules of conduct for members of Lviv sports fishing club.
