ACTIVITIES OF THE „UNIVERSITY OF THIRD AGE” IN THE CONDITIONS OF MODERN SOCIETY

Abstract
The article addresses the problem of the prerequisites for the creation of the third-generation universities and their impact on the quality of life of the elderly. An attempt has been made to prove that adult educa- tion is a key to maintaining the active and high quality of life of the elderly through their education and self improvement.
