ACTIVITY OF CITY COUNCIL OF ODESSA ON MARCH – AUGUST 1917 (ADAPTED FROM THE NEWSPAPER “ODESSA’S SHEET”)

Abstract
The author studies the period in history of Odessa connected with the changes which happened after fall of czarist regime. He studies the period of reorganization of self-rule of Odessa in conditions of preparations for the democratic election. Most of the focus is on the local newspaper “Odessa’s sheet” as far as this periodical provided extensive coverage of political and economic processes, so it partly unfolds activity of City Council of Odessa in the stated period.
