Adapting Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve SMEs performance

Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to present the utilitarian effect of the research on the adaptation and the implementation of the Lean Six Sigma methodology in the small and medium-sized Europeans enterprises of the manufacturing sector. The methodology was created by Authors and verified in the Polish and French enterprises from 2009 to 2011. This paper presents a framework of the proposed methodology as well as a case study of its application in the SMEs sector.
