Abstract

The article is devoted to the adjectival composites with zero suffix found in the monuments of the XI – XIIIth centuries. The main structural groups, subgroups and models of such composites depending on their formal structure and the components belonging to different parts of speech are determined. It was found that the basis of compound adjectives combined with the interfix -o-, less – -e- or -u-. Most of the composites of this structure indicated to the external signs of persons or objects, had direct significance and was stylistically neutral.
