Administrative and legal measures to prevent corruption risks in local government

Abstract
The article investigates the corruption risks in local government and their prevention in terms of decentralization. Today, one of the most important tasks of Ukrainian politics – a harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with international standards relating to the fight against corruption and implementation of international guidelines. In this regard, today has a new Law of Ukraine «On service in local government», which is the result of local government reform and provides a revolutionary change in their activities. One of the main directions in the field of corruption prevention is to identify corruption risks that may arise in the activities of local government and eliminate the conditions and causes of these risks.
