Adsorption on mineral formations in homogenous system

Abstract

This paper focuses on risks related to the use of fuels, mainly crude oil and natural gas. Methods for disposing of spills of those substances while transportation and usage were presented in this paper. Also mineral adsorbents used for spill removal were described. The research part of this paper presents sorption test results of diesel oil on chosen mineral deposits. It turned out that an effective adsorbent in diesel oil-sorption process is mineral sorbent of volcanic origin perlite.This paper focuses on risks related to the use of fuels, mainly crude oil and natural gas.
