Advanced Level Cyclic Gray Codes with Application

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to generate the advanced level cyclic gray codes. The Gray code, also known as cyclic. Gray is a binary numeral system where two successive values differ in only one bit. The binary gray code was originally designed to prevent spurious output from electromechanical switches. Here Algorithm to generate (n, r) Gray code is presented. As an example constructional details of generalized binary Gray code of 5 bit and 6 bit is considered with different permutation. Today, Gray codes are widely used to facilitate error correction in digital communications such as digital terrestrial television and some cable TV systems. Due to its cyclic nature it is used for different application.
