ADVERTISING IN THE FRENCH LITERATURE FROM THE BANATIAN EDUCATION’S PAST

Abstract
The fact that Caraș-Severin County can take pride in a tradition of one and a half century of theological, pedagogical education and of 45 years of higher education in Reșița is owed to those who have put the basis of the schools during a period when even the thought of it seemed almost impossible in this part of the country. In the first place, surely, we refer to the bishop Ioan Popasu, the founder of the two institutes in Caransebeș, the theological one (Petrica, 2005) and the teacher training college (1876), and to all the teachers who activated during the time. Ștefan Velovan is one of the landmarks.
