ISHIHAST PSYCHOTHERAPY. THE HEALING POWER OF PRAYER: EDUCATIONAL APPROACH

Abstract
The hesychast psychotherapy is a constructivist model of the mind-soul-body triad, magic/shamanic-hesychast-psycho/logotherapeutic, meaning that with the help of human mind the spiritual realities and their relation to the human body are being “conceptualized”. The most important aspect of this research was that along the entire work, no matter what scientific subjects were being approached, we tried to demonstrate that the not only the Christian spirituality and mysticism must “accept” the psycho-therapeutic science, but vice versa. The science and the religion together generate definitive positive results in healing states of mind.
