SPORT PREFERENCES AND THE LIFESTYLE OF THE SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract
The present paper, one of exploratory type, has tried to identify an actuality among the students of the secondary school, thus, not having a hypothesis that we should confirm. By this paper, we have tried to identify the sport preferences of the secondary school students and the activities achieved by them in their free time, trying to find the perception of their lifestyle. The research was achieved in the lower secondary schools, the sample was composed of 324 children, having a margin of error of ±5% and a reliability threshold of 95%. The results obtained give us hope that the future generations of young people will have an active lifestyle because the present students of the secondary school seem to be aware of the importance of practising physical exercises.
