AESTHETIC POSITIVIST DOCTRINE AS THE BASIS OF ARTISTIC EXPERIMENT

Abstract
This article introduces the concept of "artistic experiment" into aesthetic and artistic discourse. I call your attention to the first phase of “artistic experiment” as a concept in the Aesthetics and Art history. The art experiment appears as "“Scientifically imbued artistic experiment". Such a "reload" of scientific concept “experiment” was possible thanks to ideas of philosophical and aesthetic doctrine of positivism. The works of Auguste Comte and Hippolyte Taine express the idea of penetration of science, with its methods, laws and principles in to the arts. “Scientifically imbued artistic experiment” – formed in the philosophy of positivism art method that aims to get new knowledge of reality with the help of art tools. “Scientifically imbued artistic experiment” borrows all the essential features of scientific experiment, doesn’t violate the reflective-imitative tradition, bases on a true, realistic reflection of reality.
