Journal Title: International Journal of Humanities and Social Science Invention - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 11
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between financial development and agricultural support for the period 1986-2015 with a new method of asymmetric causality analysis. For this purpose, the stability of the variables and the appropriate delay length were determined and Hecker- Hatemi (2006) conducted a symmetric causality analysis and as a result no causality was found. Then, the relationship between financial development and agricultural supports was examined by Hatemi-J (2012) asymmetric causality relation. As a result; one-way causality from financial supports to financial development has been found among the negative components of the variables.
