AGRO-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX OF UKRAINE: CONTEMPORARY STATE, TRENDS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article analyzes the export-import balance of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine and identifies its key problems. On the basis of the fullness of the domestic market and the restriction of the growth of exports in virtually all groups of agrifood products, along with the reserves for increasing production, the necessity of reforming the domestic agro-industrial complex, which is represented by agriculture and the food industry, is substantiated. Priority of development of groups with the highest volumes of added value is noted. It is revealed that the growth of the activities of agroholdings pushes small and medium-sized agricultural producers to search for new forms of organization, among them soft forms of integration – business networks that reduce all kinds of expenses for opportunities to integrate into the extended value chain with enterprises of other industries. Based on scientific research methods (monographic and comparison), the solution of key problems of agriculture and the food industry through networking of enterprises was proposed
