AKTY URODZEŃ W PARAFII MIERONICE W LATACH 1826-1856

Abstract
W artykule przedstawiono obraz demograficzny parafii Mieronice w latach 1826-1856. Zagadnienie zostało przeanalizowane w kilku aspektach: liczby urodzeń, struktury płci i struktury społeczno-zawodowej rodziców. Nie zabrakło też ustaleń w zakresie ukazania pokrewieństwa między rodzicami biologicznymi a chrzestnymi, różnicy między dniem przyjścia dziecka na świat a jego chrztem, oraz ukazano trendy sezonowości urodzeń i najpopularniejszych imion nadawanych dzieciom na chrzcie. Podstawowym źródłem badań są księgi metrykalne parafii rzymskokatolickiej w Mie-ronicach z lat1826-1856. Uzasadnieniem dla napisania artykułu jest dotychczasowy brak badań na temat struktury urodzeń w parafii Mieronice w latach 1826-1856. The article presents the demographic profile of the Mieronice parish in the years 1826-1856. The issue has been analyzed in several aspects: number of births, gender structure and socio - occupational structure of parents. There are also findings on the relationship between biological parents and godparents, as well as the difference be-tween the baby's birth and baptism date. Furthermore, the article presents the trends in seasonality of birth and most popular names given to children at baptism. The parish register of Mieronice, the Roman Catholic parish, in the years 1826-1856, is the pri-mary source of the research presented in this article. The main reason for writing the paper is the lack, as yet, of research on the structure of births in Mieronice parish in the years 1826-1856.
