Algorithmic method of the turbo flowmeter accuracy increasing

Abstract

The possibility of the accuracy increasing of the flow rate measuring of the turbine-power flowmeter is considered in the article. The presence of a constant friction torque in the suspension axes of the indicator turbine and the instability of the elastic element characteristics are considered as the reasons caused the errors. The first of these errors is proposed to be eliminated by taking measurements at two fixed values of the angular velocity of the power turbine rotation, processing the measurement results accordingly. The exact value of the flow in the case of the spring elastic properties instability can be obtained on the basis of identification of the indicator turbine parameters in the transient mode between the indicated angular velocities of the power turbine.
