Abstract
The article presents the results of improving the algorithm for laboratory diagnosis of HIV infection. As a result of the ongoing HIV epidemic in Kazakhstan, the inclusion of an integral blood / plasma / serum / gingival fluid test in the algorithm will ensure the effectiveness of testing, improve the quality control of HIV infection diagnostics, and strengthen the laboratory capacity of the Republican Center for Prevention and the fight against AIDS of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
