ALGUNAS REFLEXIONES EN TORNO A LA JUVENTUD ECUATORIANA EN LOS ACTUALES MOMENTOS

Abstract
According to the information collected in the last population census carried out in Ecuador, there is an estimated of 3’043,513 young people between the ages of 18 and 29. There is a diversity of ethnic groups, such as mestiza, montubio, Afro Ecuadorian, indigenous and white, with their own customs and traditions. Hence the need of considering some important aspects of interest to this group, such as the choice of their profesional career. The complexity of the relationship between personal interest and cultural influence presents the possibility of provoking personal conflicts when choosing their future profesional career. This article presents the contributions of four theoretical models of psychosocial development, where identifiable and distinctive stages are established. These will allow us to approach to the identification and characterization of personal conflicts that might affect in the personality´s development. Nevertheless, there is a group of Young population who think different, which generates controversies that influence educational, psychosocial, political, hence personal environments.
