LA FOBIA ESPECÍFICA BAJO LA TERAPIA BREVE ESTRATÉGICA

Abstract
Las fobias específicas se encuentran entre los trastornos de ansiedad más comunes. Durante la pandemia se ha informado de una mayor prevalencia de la enfermedad entre la población. El objetivo del estudio fue implementar una intervención terapéutica para prevenir los síntomas clínicos asociados a fobias en los pacientes. En la literatura científica aprendieron que la terapia breve estratégica es una forma de psicoterapia que ha demostrado ser eficaz en el tratamiento de fobias específicas. Este artículo describe un caso clínico de una mujer de 33 años residente en Argentina con este trastorno. Se realizaron ocho sesiones virtuales utilizando la Terapia de Estrategias Breves, un modelo integrativo con un diseño cualitativo de caso único de intervenciones psicoterapéuticas. Como resultado, los síntomas clínicos relevantes se resolvieron por completo y el tratamiento fue exitoso con importancia clínica y psicoterapéutica más allá de la fobia y los objetivos de tratamiento establecidos.
