ANÁLISIS SEMIÓTICO DE LA IMAGEN

Abstract
In this work, the semiotic analysis of an image composed of two parts in which, the current president Lenin Moreno and Will Smith appear respectively in order to understand the message that conveys. The bibliographic and documentary researches were used and Umberto Eco's analysis model was applied. In the image, President Lenin Moreno is stating that it is prudent to end trash TV, according to the text, while in the second image, there is a scene of a film, in which Will Smith appears with gestures of emotion, from which a picture with the following phrase: "This little moment of my life is called happiness" . If the phrase is studied in isolation, the reader surely enters into conflict when asked about what happiness represents. However, taking into account details such as the attitude of the characters, their gestures, the context and the environment they are in, the speech becomes clear and precise: Will Smith experiences his moment of happiness when he learns that the trash TV will end according to President Lenin Moreno, which is the essence of the message, in the social order.
