ALTERNATIVE THEORY OF CREATIVITY AND DISCUSSION OF “PHYSICISTS AND LYRICISTS” IN THE SOVIET ACADEMIC SPHERE IN THE END OF THE 1950s - THE BEGINNING OF THE 1960s

Abstract
The article deals with the alternative theory of creativity – “other theory of creativity” that developed in the USSR in interdisciplinary studies that arose as a result of the development of cybernetics. The importance of the contribution of the first Soviet mathematicians to the “other theory of creativity” is emphasized, which most often became the subject of criticism from the representatives of the humanities in the Soviet era and remains an underestimated branch of academic aesthetics of the second half of the twentieth century.
