Abstract
The concept of cryptocurrency is defined in the article. Features, modern state of distribution and exchange course of cryptocurrency of Bitcoin are investigated. The subsequent prospects of cryptocurrency of Bitcoin are grounded in the conditions of development of informative economy. The state of use of Bitcoin in Ukraine is described.
