AN ANALYSIS OF THE PROGRESS RECORDED BY THE PUPILS OF DÂMBOVIŢA COUNTY WHO PARTICIPATED TO THE SCHOOL OLYMPICS OF GEOGRAPHY DURING THE PERIOD 2008-2013

Abstract
Evaluation represents a complex act, an essential part of the training-teaching process, which supposes the measurement of the school results based on unitary criteria, and the adoption of an educational decision. In order to highlight the school progress of the pupils capable of performance at the discipline Geography, from Dâmboviţa County, we have made a comparative analysis of their results obtained during the Geography Olympics at the county and national stage, during the period 2008–2013, and of the internal and external factors that contributed to the obtaining of these school performances.
