An Application of ABC Analysis and Analytic Network Process at the Stock Control in Heat Tools Company

Abstract
Today’s enterprises are trying to maintain their presence with the rapid development of technology and the increasingly difficult competitive ambience. The enterprises want to be reply quickly, quality and completely to customer demands. At the same time, they want to be minimize of the cost. A stock control management is one of the most important tools that will be used to achieve these objectives. Becauce, this case provides both reduce costs and the ability to respond faster to customer demands. In this study, first, it was conducted ABC analysis in the enterprises of thermal tools that is one of the stock control methods. Then, analytic network process method was used for multiple criteria stock classification. At the end of the study, it was compared a results of ABC stock classification and analytic network process.
