An Efficient Searching and File Replication Consistency in Peer-to-Peer Networks
Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 12
Abstract
Unstructured Network with file sharing properties with peer-to-peer (P2P) is very popular in the market. Though it is so popular it produce flooding query messages and result a heavy network traffic and which may not perform searches efficiently and effectively. To overcome this issue We propose a algorithm for unstructured P2P networks which is based on the file sharing pattern exhibiting the power-law property and also it gives the performance guarantees.
